R version 3.2.1 is now available on the nucleus cluster and via rstudio.biohpc.swmed.edu

This is the latest release of R, from June 2015 and has been built with optimizations for our systems to dramatically speed up linear algebra operations.

webGUI - GUI Cluster Sessions via the web.

We are pleased to be able to introduce webGUI sessions to the BioHPC user portal.

webGUI allows you to launch a GUI job on a single 64GB cluster node and access it through your web browser. You can use the session via any modern web browser, without needing a VNC client.
